Abstract
479,270. Cathode-ray tubes. COMPAGNIE POUR LA FABRICATION DES COMPTEURS ET MATERIEL D'USINES A GAZ. Nov. 12, 1936, No. 19109/37. Divided out of and addition to 479,226 under which a Specification was laid open to inspection under Sect. 91 of the Acts, May 18, 1937. [Class 39 (i)] In a cathode-ray tube having a cold. cathode, the cathode disc b and a disc c with a helical slot d form the armatures of two motors k, l and rotate independently at different speeds. A third fixed disc e has a radial slot g; the two slots co-operate so that at some time the whole surface of the cathode is rendered active.
