[Class 74 (i)] [Also in Groups IX, VII, and XV] A fabric is made by threading threads, bands or the like under and over through a base sheet of netting or perforated material. In the form shown, bands c are threaded through netting a, d. The base material may be perforated, e.g. canvas, or may be netting of silk, cotton, twine, wool, horsehair or raffia. The filling may be threads or bands of linen, wool, cotton, natural or artificial silk, metal, twine, rubber, " Cellophane " (Registered Trade Mark), wool braid, horsehair, parcelling tape, tulle, cloth, felt, leather, lace, embroidery, parchment, feathers, or strung pearls. The fabric may be ornamented by adding pearls, clips, studs, metallic ornaments, glass, porcelain, wood, plastic substances, paper, feathers, galloon, or ribbons. The base may have any mesh, and the bands be crocheted, folded, twisted or crumpled, and may be inserted in various ways.
