[Class 18] [Also in Group XVIII] A display box adapted to be supported in a tilted position by an easel attached at its back, is made from the blank shown in Fig. 1, of which panels 47 and 35 form the bottom, panels 32, 40 the ends, panel 34 the front, panel 11 the back, and panel 25 which carries the easel 15, 22 from an inner back slidable in contact with panel 11 between this and panel 53. The box is set up by glue tabs into the form shown in Fig. 4, tabs 33, 41 forming article supports. The base may be packed in the set-up condition in a carton 61, Fig. 6, with panel 25 folded about line 23, Fig. 1, the end of the carton being filled by a filler 65 having adjoining sides 66, 67 at right-angles and two faces 69, 70 in alignment and lying against the outer face of the display box bottom, two ends 72, 73 being bent into contact and extending into abutment with the fold joining sides 66, 67, side 66 thus forming an end closure for the carton 61. The carton has a hinged flap 75 joined by gummed paper 80 to panel 66 of the filler and to the opposite face of the carton 61. When the carton 61 is stood upright and withdrawn after breaking the paper 80, the display carton automatically assumes the display position.
