472,550. Centrifugal pumps. GRIERSON, G. A. H. March 24, 1936, No. 8828. Convention date, April 26, 1935. [Class 110 (i)] A double disc impeller comprises a metal skeleton completely enclosed in rubber. The disc 7, the ring 8 and the spacer members 9 forming the skeleton are held together by the rubber. The skeleton parts are tailored with uncured rubber, inserted in a mould and subjected to heat so that the rubber completely fills the mould around the skeleton. During the moulding operation, the ring 8 is retained in its position relative to the disc 7 and the spacer members 9 by pins 10 which engage holes 11.
