472,528. Electric hot -plates. CHALLET, E. April 6, 1937, No. 9743. Convention date, April 6, 1936. [Class 39 (iii)] The plate 1 has on its upper face an annular peak 2 of which the top provides the part of maximum heating capacity, the bottom 3 of a receptacle, even if deformed, coming into contact with this annular peak. The plate may be solid, or if made hollow, a housing is provided for the heating element. In Fig. 7, an annular hollow plate 11 is shown with a housing 12 for the resistance. In the case of a hollow plate, the peak portion may be thickened.
