[Class 117] A screen comprises parallel teeth or prongs extending parallel to the surface of the screen from transverse bars having sloping surfaces, the transverse bars being arranged so that they do not extend above the teeth or prongs. In the form shown in Fig. 2, the teeth c<1> project from transverse inclined bars b extending between the side bars of the screen. The arrow X represents the direction of travel of the material. In the form shown in Fig. 3, there are two transverse bars per row of teeth c<3>, each transverse bar being built up of parts b<1> secured together by bolts b<2>.
