[Class 11] [Also in Group XVIII] Weather-resisting panels bearing pictorial representations or designs, which are suitable for use as signs, consist of a pre-shaped design formed in a synthetic resin of the phenol formaldehyde type inlaid in a background of a resin of the same type. The design is formed from one or more pieces, which are cut from a sheet or sheets, and may be of several colours. The pieces are assembled on a support together with the background, and are cemented together. The support may itself form the background, and is then also of resin, the design being inlaid in a recess. The background may be moulded around the design.
