469,072. Tempering glass. AMERICAN SECURIT CO. Feb. 23, 1937, No. 5384. Convention date, Feb. 29, 1936. [Class 56] A glass sheet 12 during tempering is carried by a frame suspended from a travelling carriage and comprising a number of bars 35, having narrow metal strips 42 let into them, and a flange having a wearing surface 41 on which the lower edge of the glass rests, and may be held against accidental displacement by spring clips 44 inserted in holes in the top or bottom of the frame. The frame is pivoted so as to tend to hang vertically and is given an adjustable inclination by set screws 38.
