Abstract

An electric condenser dielectric is made by shaping and burning a composition comprising a substantial amount of titanium and zirconium dioxides, the amount by weight of the former exceeding that of the latter. The relative proportions may be from 2 to 1 to 4 to 1. The composition may contain from 10 to 50 per cent by weight of flux e.g. magnesia, magnesite, magnesium silicate or clay. Specifications 139,315, [Class 22], and 389,790 are referred to.
