Abstract
467,125. Poultry houses etc.; preventing access of vermin. HOCKEN, W. T. B. April 27, 1936, No. 11876. [Classes 5 (i) and 5 (ii)] The entrance to a fowl-house &c. is normally closed by a counterweighted ladder or ramp h pivoted on a rod e carried by side guard members b carrying a bottom guard d. When a fowl &c. passes between the side members b, the ladder tilts and allows free entrance into the house c. A fox or other relatively large animal is unable to pass between the guards b. The ladder may be held in position to leave the entrance open by a locking-rod passed through holes i in the guards b.
