[Class 102 (ii)] [Also in Group XXX] A pneumatic or hydraulic conveying conduit of the type comprising a plurality of connected sections provided with nozzles &c. through which a fluid under pressure is introduced in a direction substantially parallel to the inner surface of the conduit at the places of introduction and to the direction of flow of the conveyed material, has some or all of the conduit sections k, n, Fig. 3, formed, at only one part of their periphery, with a transversely elongated nozzle d of which the side remote from the conveyed material forms a substantially straight prolongation f of the inner surface m of the following section. Fig. 2 shows the application of the invention to a bend, the surface f, which forms an extension of the surface g of the next section, being, if desired, provided on an insertion h fixed in any suitable manner to the nozzle.
