Abstract

465,646. Road traffic signals on vehicles. ROBBINS, A. June 16, 1936, No. 14237. [Class 118 (ii)] A rotary manoeuvre-indicator comprises a four-sided casing A bearing signs on its four sides which is rotated by a Bowden wire D against the action of a restoring spring J, the casing being internally illuminated by a lamp K mounted within a directing reflector M. In the normal position a red oblong shape A<1>, Fig. 1, is shewing the other sides of the casing bearing respectively arrows pointing right and left and the word "stop." Specifications 176,414 and 306,326, [both in Class 118 (ii)], are referred to.
