Abstract
465,054. Discharge lamps. BRITISH THOMSON-HOUSTON CO., Ltd., and RUFF, H. R. Oct. 29, 1935, No. 29862. Drawings to Specification. [Class 39 (i)] [Also in Group XXXVI] A magnetic control coil for a gaseous discharge device is of aluminium wire or strip insulated with oxide which may be formed by the anodizing process, the turns of the coal being separated prior to the oxidizing treatment and subsequently bound back into the form of a completed coil. The coils are bound by a wrapping of asbestos tape held by wire and these materials may be preheated to bake out gases or vapours. Specification 444,400 is referred to.
