[Classes 28 (i), 81 (i), and 129] [Also in Group V] A pressed tablet comprises a core x with a coating y and has a depression z in one of its flat sides. Cores of tea, coffee or cocoa may be coated with sugar. Medicinal tablets may be similarly coated, but in the case of remedies for the diabetic, lactose can be used. Substances for use in baking as for raising dough or protecting it against ropiness or drawing into threads may be put up in required quantities in this tablet. The depression z facilitates transfer in the pressing machine and serves to key the coating on the core.
