Abstract

464,221. Filing papers. GUICHARD, R. A. E. Jan. 8, 1936, No. 687. Convention date, Jan. 10, 1935. [Class 146 (i)] A document-filing jacket adapted for vertical suspension by means of a rod threaded through perforations in the jacket is provided with more than one row of perforations whereby the jacket can be suspended from relativelydifferent levels. The jacket is formed by folding a sheet about its centre line 8, and each of the sides 1, 2 so formed is provided with two or more rows of circular perforations 4, 5 to receive the suspension rod. Each rod is formed with a pair of claws 12, 13 adapted to engage semicircular perforations 10 at ends of the row of perforations to prevent endwise movement of the rod. Notches 14 are provided adjacent to the ends of the rods for engaging supporting rails and have inclined inner edges 14a which by engagement with the rails cause the rods to be positioned centrally of the rails. The jackets may be formed with integral flaps 3, or detachable flaps secured by the rods passing through perforations therein may be provided.
