[Class 132 (ii)] Game apparatus of the roulette type comprises a gramophone record a, a disc b fixedly mounted thereon to rotate therewith and divided into scoring spaces b<2>, and a selector disc c placed upon the disc b, so that when the record is played upon a turntable d, both discs rotate therewith until the sound reproducing stylus f or another suitable stop engages the projection c<1> of disc c to stop it. The disc b continues to rotate until the record is stopped when the winning score is read through an aperture c<2> in disc c against a pointer c<3>. In a game simulating horse racing, the record a may have a plurality of sound tracks a<1> each of which commences with the same sound effects but ends by announcing a different winning horse, the winning indication seen through window c<2> denoting for example, the stakes to be paid on the winning horse. The apparatus could also be used for dirt-track, dog racing &c. and a plurality of windows in the selector disc may be provided to indicate winning scores. In a modification, the selector disc j, Figs. 5, 6, is rotatably mounted between two discs h, k fixed by a washer g ; the disc h carries score bearing divisions h<1> the winning one of which is indicated by an arrow j<3> on the projection j<1> of disc j, and the lower disc k also carries indications visible through apertures h<2> in disc h and staggered apertures j<2> in the disc j. An assembly of scoring and selector discs, for example, as above described may be permanently fixed to a gramophone record and a stakes board may be provided.
