Abstract

362,587. Board games. SCHOFIELD, H. U., 18A, Shepherds Way, Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire. Oct. 9, 1930, No. 30281. [Class 132 (ii).] Apparatus for playing a table game simulating golf comprises a series of boards or cards each having marked or moulded upon it a representation of a different golf hole, markers being moved over the boards in accordance with results given by a chance apparatus consisting of a number of discs which are each in turn spun beneath an adjustable pointer. The boards may be arranged to fold together in book or in " concertina " form. A disc b, Fig. 2, is provided for each board, the discs being placed on a rotatable table above which is fixed a pointer e having a radially adjustable part g. The discs have a number of annular areas A, B, &c., the pointer being set to indicate against any area as desired. The boards, Fig. 1, are provided with corresponding areas and also with numbered positions on which markers in the form of miniature balls, Fig. 4, are placed.
