[Class 17 (ii)] A garter-like device for wear inside a shoe around the instep comprises a thin unornamented piece of coloured material such as soft leather 12 to the ends of which are attached opposite ends of a short length of elastic tape 11. The coloured portion 12 conforms with the general shape of the openwork design 13 of a shoe upper and is visible therethrough. From a number of pairs of such devices of different colours, for wear with a pair of shoes, one which suits the clothing worn may be chosen. Specification 226,591, [Class 17 (ii)], is referred to.
