Abstract

459,865. Interrupters. MOORE, J. E., 37, Park Crescent, Southport, and A.R.A., Ltd., 30, St. Ann Street, Manchester. July 16, 1935. No. 20233. [Class 38 (v)] [See also Group XXXVIII] Rotary contacts are provided to minimize trouble due to dirty contacts, pitting &c. As described switch levers such as B<3> are operated by cams such as A<3>. When a lever is operated it pivots about B so that its contact C is brought into contact with the rotating tube c<3> which may be of tungsten steel and is insulated from the shaft c by bush c<4>. The levers are connected to signal lamps by means of terminals c<1> whilst current is fed to the tube c<3> by brush D and terminal D<1>.
