457,663. Diving-apparatus. NICHOLSON, P., 91, Gander Green Lane, Sutton, Surrey. June 4, 1935, No. 16125. [Class 68 (ii)] [See also Group VI] A device for enabling a person to breathe whilst wholly or partially submerged consists of a mask 10, a length of flexible tubing 12, and a float 13 with a valve 17 which closes the upper end of the tube 12 when a smaller float 18 is raised as the float 13 sinks. In deep water an exhaust tube 19, also provided with a float valve, may be fitted. An anti-gas substance may be fitted in the apparatus.
