Abstract

A composition for preserving, waterproofing, and fireproofing stone, brick, wood, and like work, or for marine anti-fouling purposes, is prepared by mixing together creamed rubber latex, waterglass, camphor dissolved in a cellulose ester, ammonia, warm milk, cold milk, and dried milk. The cellulose ester may have been thinned to a lacquer consistency by the addition of amyl acetate. The composition may be applied for example by brushing or spraying. According to the Provisional Specification, the dried milk may be replaced by albumen.
