Convention date, July 14, 1934. [Class 108 (iii)] [See also Group XVI] A pneumatic dashpot is provided with means for temporarily increasing its resistance at an intermediate part of its stroke. The plunger M<2> of the dashpot has a one-way valve M<5>, and the cylinder M<3> has an adjustable outlet M<12>. To the plunger is attached a pistor valve M<7> passing through a bore M<10> in the cylinder head. The valve has flattened parts M<8> and ar intermediate unflattenec part M<9>, so that, as the part M<9> passes through the bore, the resistance is temporarily increased.
