Abstract

454,561. Lay figures. LAWRENCE, F. C., Perry's Place, 72, Oxford Street, London. March 29, 1935, No. 9787. [Class 52 (v)] The head 1 of a lay figure is movably fitted over the neck 5 and is cut away along a line inclined upwardly from the point at which the back of the chin 4 meets the neck to the top of the back of the neck, so as to expose a length of neck of normal size with the join situated where a shadow usually appears. The head is carried by flexible tubing 6 secured to a piece ot rigid tubing fitted into a guide tube 7 fixed to a board 10 within the bust or body portion 8.
