[Classes 52 (i) and 52 (ii)] A furniture support consists of a C-shaped runner 1, which is connected to the underside of a chair &c. by keyhole slots 3 and stud plates 4. Preferably, the strip 1 is of steel with beaded, rolled, or upturned edges. In modifications, the ends 2 are supported by telescopic or other struts, or are extended inwards so as to bear on the middle of the strip 1.
