[Class 52 (ii)] In a furniture frame of metal tubing, a part or parts a, Fig. 1, of the frame is made of tube or greater diameter or thickness than the remaining parts, and the ends of the part or parts b of lesser diameter are inserted into the larger parts a and extend inside the latter so as to provide a double thickness of tube at the parts of the frame subjected to the greatest stress, for example, the front supports and the bends c and d of a chair frame. In a table frame, Fig. 3, the legs f are of tube of greater diameter than the tubes g forming the top supports, and the latter extend inside the bends h of the legs.
