Abstract
449,589. Vans. WILSON, J. E., c/o Ormeau Bakery, Ltd., Ormeau Road, Belfast. June 29, 1935, No. 18657. [Class 108 (i)] In a van comprising a body and a framework carrying shelves or other supports, the body and the framework are arranged in removable association to permit of cleaning or the like. As shown the body 1 is provided with angle runners 2 and central strip 3 upon which the framework or cage is adapted to be housed or removed. The framework comprises uprights 4, connecting side runners 5, 5<a> the two upper ones at each side being connected by plates 6 and intermediate uprights 8 connected to the bottom plate 7 by angle strips 9, to the plates 6 by brackets, and connected together by runners 5<a> and strip 11. Drawers 10 and basket 10<a> are adapted to be slid upon the runners 5, 5<a> which may be provided with rollers 12. A partition 13 having forked ends engaging strips 14, 15 is adapted to be positioned between the framework and the top of the body. In place of the framework being removable, it may be fixed to the vehicle underframe and the body may be made removable.
