[Class 37] A balance system for a magnetometer has its central body part b and the magnet blades a formect as a casting in cobalt steel. Temperature compensating rods d, e are provided with adjustable weights f, g, these rods being of aluminium and the material known under the Registered Trade Mark " Invar," the weights f, g being of brass and steel.
