447,504. Supply metars. BRITISH THOMSON - HOUSTON CO., Ltd., Crown House, Aldwych, London. Dec. 7, 1934, No. 35212. Convention date, Dec. 7, 1933. Addition to 437,761. [Class 37] An arrangement for metering excess consumption comprises a plurality of discs 12 rotated at a constant speed through a clutch 16, which is released each time a predetermined consumption has been taken by a relay 10 operated from the main supply meter as described in the parent Specification. Each disc is provided with a pin 121 for operating a recording device. The discs are normally rotated in the clockwise direction, and the respective pins move past the recording devices without operating them, but if the clutch 16 is released before the discs have completed a half revolution, a spring 14 returns the discs to their initial position in the counterclockwise direction, and the last pin 121 to be carried past its recording device actuates the latter on its return. If the release of the clutch occurs after a half revolution of the discs, the latter are returned to their initial positions in the clockwise direction and none of the recording devices are actuated.
