447,496. Golf clubs. STEVENS, A. H., 5, Quality Court, Chancery Lane, London.- (Heddon's Sons, J. ; Dowagiac, Michigan, U.S.A.) Nov. 26, 1934, No. 33950. [Class 132 (ii)] The golf club shaft is provided with a protruding shoulder 11 between two downwardly tapering portions 10 and 12. In an alternative construction, not shown, the upper portion 10 is cylindrical and the lower portion tapered. The thickness of the wall of the shaft may be devised to give the requisite distribution of flexibility.
