[Class 44] [See also Group X] A holder or fastening for sliding window sashes consists of a screw passing through an aperture in an intermediate frame member 7 and provided with a boss 13 and non - rotatable nut 12 between which slotted flanges 16 of the sashes are clamped. The clamping means may also consist of left and right - hand threaded nuts and a handoperated screw.
