Abstract

Rubber articles deposited from vulcanizable latex on backings or moulds by dipping, spraying, spreading or like operations are removed from the backings and "tumble cured", i.e. agitated in a revolving or oscillating barrel containing hot air, steam, water or other non-halogen containing medium. The articles may be partially or wholly dried, or partially vulcanized, before removal from the backings.
