[Class 43] Stones are interchangeably mounted in articles of jewellery (e.g. a ring c) by means of a cup shaped frame b which holds the stone a, and fits in a similarly shaped frame d secured to the ring. Tongues f on the frame b are bent over the stone, and claws g are bent outwards and downwards to engage in grooves i formed in the frame d. Spring catches may replace the claws g and grooves i.
