Abstract

Ornamented soap cakes are obtained by applying a water-repelling layer, e.g. of wax, lacquer, or viscose, by letterpress printing to the outer or to both sides of tissue paper or other base, printing on the layer the picture or inscription, sticking the paper on the soap cake, and preferably coating over with wax or like.
