Abstract
445,969. Clocks. WILLIAMSON CLOCK CO., Ltd., and SEAGER, J. H., 81, Farringdon Road, London. Jan. 28, 1935, No. 2774. [Class 139] In a clock the curved glass 3 is held to the solid front 1 of the clock by members (clips or screws 4) angularly spaced around the edge of the glass, there being a small hole in the centre of the front for the passage of the hand arbors. The movement is attached to the rear of the part 1 and the clips 4 are held by screws inserted from the back of part 1. Washers may be inserted between the heads of clips 4 and the front 1. The latter may be the same size or larger than the glass or recessed to receive a curved or flat glass. The clips may form some of the hour marks. The marks or chapters 10 may be made on the front 1 or on the glass. In a bracket clock as shown in Fig. 4, two of the clips 4 are rigid with the bracket 12. Specification 364,296 is referred to.
