Abstract

445,806. Colour photography. GASPAR, B., 59, Rue de Tenbosch, Brussels. Feb. 14, 1935, No. 4774. [Class 98 (ii)] The gelatine of the photographic layer is coloured with the water-soluble copper or chromium complex salts of dyestuffs which are known as Neolan dyestuffs. The process may be applied to the production of multicolour screen material obtained by emulsifying a plurality of coloured emulsions or to the production of multi-layer colour photographic materials. On a silver halide gelatine emulsion coloured with Neolan Yellow R and sensitized for green with Pinaflavol may be poured an emulsion coloured with Neolan Pink G and sensitized for red with Ethyl Violet. A silver bromide emulsion containing the quinoline salt of Diamine Pure Blue FF may constitute a third layer. In another example, one side of a support is coated with a silver halide emulsion sensitized for red and coloured orange with Neolan Pink B and Neolan Yellow R, and on the other side is coated an emulsion sensitized for blue and coloured blue with Diamine Pure Blue FF. A two-colour image is printed on to this material through red and blue filters. The dyestuff may be destroyed at the points of the silver deposit by acid thiocarbamide solution.
