[Class 8 (i)] In a hand-supported vacuum cleaner the handle 15, Fig. 1, can be gripped on either side of the centre of gravity 16. For this purpose the handle may be rotatable about an axis passing through the centre of gravity, as shown in Fig. 1, or the handle may project on both sides of the axis 18. Alternatively, a loop handle 22, Fig. 3, may be employed extending on each side of the centre of gravity. The handle may have a single internal projection 23, or may be corrugated internally.
