441,631. Stretcher bars for railway switch mechanism. WILLIAMS, L. WYNN-, Haughton Bridge Works, Darlington. July 23, 1934, No. 21559. [Class 104 (i)] In a facing point look stretcher bar 1, the portion 7 which receives the facing point lock is formed relatively thick and the adjacent portions relatively thin to increase the flexibility of the bar. The ends of the bar are connected to point rails by means of distance pieces so that a bar of uniform gauge may be used for point rails of various gauges. Specification 403,919 is referred to.
