[Class 64 (ii)] A temperature indicating and controlling instrument has two mutually-insulated independently adjustable contacts t<2>, t<3>, determining the temperature range, associated with a hot-wire or other relay B controlling the heating agent, and with resistances w<1>, w<3> so that in the low temperature position of the moving contact t<1> the relay is energized through the resistance w<1> in medium positions the relay is energized through the resistance w<3> and the main relay contact, and in the high temperature position the relay is short-circuited by the resistance w<1> and the main contacts opened. Condensers may be connected between each contact t<2>, t<3> and earth to eliminate disturbance of radio reception.
