[Class 79 (iii)] To enable a binder or other implement to be turned practically at a right angle at the corner of a field &c., it is coupled to a horizontal triangular frame a, b, c, which is rigidly secured to the rear end of the tractor by bolts passing through holes k. The side a of the frame extends in the line of draft and the side b is inclined thereto at rather less than a right angle so that a roller f on the implement pole h normally seats in the angle, which may be recessed. The third side may be straight or curved as shown. In turning a corner, the tractor turns first, the roller f riding along the side b to the position indicated in broken lines. The implement is subsequently pulled round and the roller returns to the initial position. The frame may be braced by riveted stays l, and the front attachment end may be extended laterally of the frame. The straps g between which the roller f is mounted may be secured to the pole h by a bolt i providing for ready detachment.
