436,609. Folding boxes. STEVENSON & SONS, Ltd., H., and STANDERWICK, E. J. B., Victoria Mills, Pollard Street, Manchester. July 9, 1934, No. 20074. [Class 18] A cardboard &c. folding box body or lid is made from the blank shown, the parts 2 being folded inwards over the parts 3 to form double walls, parts 7 folding inwards over flaps 5 and engaging behind thickened ends of the flaps 2 constituted by flaps 4 which are folded on to the outer or inner faces of the parts 2 and secured thereto or by separate pieces secured in position instead of the flaps 4. Flaps 6 lie along the bottom. In the case of a lid handles 9, 10 may be formed, and cutouts 11, 12 facilitate the viewing of printing carried on the box. A lid and body may be formed from a single blank.
