[A Specification was laid open to inspection under Sect. 91 of the Acts, Jan. 30, 1935] [Class 83 (i)] Metal - pouring.-A crucible a, for casting precious metals, as described in Specification 431,937 and mounted on a rotating arm so that centrifugal force may eject the contents therefrom into a mould h, is tightly secured to the mould by projections on the crucible engaging in grooves in a plate member l having perforated portions m through which the material of the mould is forced to secure the plate member l in position. The recessed securing member may be made of ceramic material with projections s, Fig. 5, for gripping the mould material and converging ribs t for engaging the crucible.
