[Class 52 (v)] A collapsable showcard of the kind simulating a tier of packages of progressively increasing size both from front to back and from side to side or a stepped series of shelves of similarly increasing size comprises a back member having a plurality of parts hinged thereto which move simultaneously into a horizontal position when the showcard is erected, said parts being progressively of increasing width and depth and having depending members or being connected with one another by members which lie in spaced vertical planes in the erected position, the vertical sides of the representations being formed by scored strips attached to the front or back of said depending or connecting members. Fig. 1 shows an arrangement in which the back member 10, members 13, 14, 15 and connecting members 16, 17, 18 are formed from a blank, Fig. 5, strips 21, 22, 23 being secured to the front of the members 16, 17, 18 and scored at 24 to form flaps 25, 26, 27 which project through the member 10. The flaps.25, 26 are formed with ears 28, Fig. 2, and the ends 30 of the flaps 27 are scored behind the member 10 and secured to a strut 31 engaging the ears 28. Alternatively, the ends of the flaps 25, 26, 27 may be secured together behind the member 10 by strips secured thereto by scored tabs. The members 16, 17, 18 may be replaced by one or more small depending tabs to which the strips 21, 22, 23 are secured, the members 13, 14, 15 being supported by a stepped strut member described in Specification 434,888, [Group XVIII].
