[Class 7 (iv)] Elements for facilitating ignition in Diesel engines consist of corrugated or helical sheets or grids in which the ratio of surface area to mass is large. The sheets may be perforated and are arranged with their main surfaces parallel to the axes of the fuel injectors. Metal may be used, or such heat-resisting material as chamotte, steatite, mica or sintered corundum. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 414,398 (as open to inspection under Sect. 91 of the Acts).
