432,369. Washing-boilers, RIGBY, T., and RIGBY, A., Britannia Works, Ormond Street, Bury. Feb. 8, 1934, No. 4128. [Class 64 (i)] A domestic washing-boiler c comprises a flanged lid a with strengthening webs a<2>, rim a<1>, and a curved under face a<6> sealing a curved face of a turned-over or beaded rim c<1> of the top of the washing-boiler ; the lid a is bolted or otherwise detachably and adjustably secured to brackets d attached to a surrounding wall of the boiler casing. A door b is hinged at b<1> to the lid a and is pressed against a rim a<5> thereon by a hinged lever e bearing on a wedge f on the door. A wringer may be attached to the flanges, and a loose cover g may be placed over the lid.
