Abstract

432,332. Vehicle windscreens. COX, R. E., Devoncombe, Stockton Lane (Rural), York. Nov. 12, 1934, No. 32494. [Class 103 (ii)] A windscreen comprises a series of curved vanes 1, 2, 3, 31, 3<11> arranged below an observation gap D so as to direct a strong current of air upwardly across it, the upper portions of the vanes being parallel to one another and the lower portions diverging. Side screens X enclose the vanes, the tops of the side-screens and of the vanes sloping downwardly away from the gap. Auxiliary screens such as described in Specification 409,524 may be mounted between the side-screens X.
