[Class 146 (iii)] [See also Group XVII] An ink-bottle for use in separating small quantities of ink for fountain-pens &c. has a restriction 3 in the neck thereof controlled by a ball-valve 5. When the bottle is tilted the movement of the ball is restricted by a projection 6 on the stopper so that only the desired quantity is trapped in the neck. The restriction 3 may be disposed eccentrically of the neck.
