431,846. Mixing-apparatus. AMERICAN MACHINE & FOUNDRY CO., 511, 5th Avenue, New York, U.S.A. March 15, 1935, No. 8063. Convention date, Oct. 20, 1934. [Class 86] A mixing blade or beater comprises a central shank and a heart-shaped head, the shank being disposed in the re-entrant angle. As shown in Fig. 1, the head comprises outwardly and upwardly inclined arms 11 connected to a central part 14 by concentric members 12, 13 ; the members 12 may be inclined in section. Fig. 4 shows a form in which the beater comprises a frame 17 with cross wires 20 carried in channel members 16. In this form the head may comprise more than two blades.
