Abstract

430,838. Mascots for vehicles. TURNER, H. J., 205, Romford Road, Forest Gate, London. Feb. 13, 1934, No. 4714. [Class 132 (iii)] In a wind-actuated mascot for road vehicles, the wind planes or wings W, Fig. 1, are attached to the body A by flat springs C. The springs extend at any desired angle from the body and are riveted to the wings preferably at the ends of longitudinal slots S, or a single spring may be used attached centrally to the body. In a modification, Fig. 3, the wings are formed of flexible material and themselves constitute the springs, slots M being provided near their points of attachment to increase their flexibility.
