[Class 26] [See also Group XXII] Various combinations are built up out of a series of standard metal elements into a structure including at least one metal sink and one draining board by arranging an end fillet or draining board, at least one self-contained sink and a draining board, with their edges disposed so as to abut or partially interlock with each other and thereafter welding together the edges of the selected combination of elements. In the form shown the section B comprising the self contained sink is formed with a fillet D of substantially rectangular section along its front and back edges ; the inner wall 4 of a detached fillet section A is curved at the ends to conform to the rounded corners of the sink and the ends of this section are cut away to receive and fit against the ends of the front and rear fillets of the sink : the edge of the draining board C and the ends of the fillet thereon are similarly shaped to fit against and interlock with the other side of the sink, the adjoining edges of the whole structure being seam welded together. Two sinks may be arranged in one structure with a filler strip welded between. The draining board may be fitted with a sheet metal apron and one or more drawers or cupboards, racks and shelves, and a splash back may be provided on the structure which may be supported on tubular metal legs.
