427,787. Hair - waving appliances. GRUNDY, C. M. L., Woy Woy, Harrow Road, Sudbury, Middlesex. Nov. 17, 1934, No. 33173. [Class 131] A hair-waver comprises a tube a through which is threaded a loop b of elastic, the ends of the loop projecting from the tube being provided respectively with pegs c, d. In use, the end of the loop projecting from one end of the tube is folded back and secured by the insertion of its peg c into the other end of the tube, thus forming a part b<1>, which may be tensioned as required, for holding the free end of the tress ; the tress is then wound on the tube and secured by the other end of the loop and its peg d.
